Honors BS vs regular BS?

All the degrees offered at my school are honors programs, and all my courses from that school are listed as honors courses.
Does this give me an "edge" or "bonus points" when schools are looking at my application?

My grades aren't stellar. In fact, I'd say they are slightly below average (3.35 BCP, 3.43 science, 3.48 non-sci), and I was hoping the honors designation would somewhat make up for that.

I'm certain they will take that into consideration. But numbers is still king, I'd say. Given the large pool of applicants, it's hard to really delve into those distinctions for every honors or non-honors. But who knows right?
