How bad is an LOA?

This sounds like NYCOM.... Honestly I love my school's policy, if you fail a class, you automatically get put on LOA for a year to re-do the class and move forward. Yea it sounds like it sucks, but it will be 1 class that's failed and remediated w/ time to adjust compared to multiple failed classes. I blame the school for creating this bat **** crazy situation for you --- at my school if they felt a student was this unprepared, they'd place them from M1 into the post-bacc program, tell them to pass the year, then start M1 with a fresh transcript. Your school should be willing to go to bat for you and helping you to succeed to residency program, these aren't carribean schools....
