Hey,

I'm curious as to how everyone heard about SDN. I used to go to a Princeton Review Discussion Board and someone recommended SDN. I'm very thankful for SDN, as it's provided me with a lot of direction. How did everyone else learn about SDN?

Thanks!
Dan

Found it on the web one day just looking around.

I was looking for medical school interview feedback sites.
Stumbled in here and quickly became an SDN addict.

I googled "pre-med" (I think) and found this place. But at first, I just looked at the front page. It took me a while to find the forums. Then it took me a while longer to actually start posting.

I went to my school's career library and was browsing through the interview feedback sheets when I came across one suggesting SDN for interview prep. I checked it out and now I'm an addict!

I was looking for some hot medical porno sites, like "gals with stethoscopes" and I stumbled across the site.

Actually my advisor recommended it.

And we are all better people because of it.

The Lord works in mysterious ways...:D

I found SDN the same way you did - from the Princeton Review board. I'm glad I did, because the Princeton Review board was an absolute joke.

Found it on BPMSG (berkeley premedical survival guide) a site for berkeley pre meds. I don't think too many people from Berkeley actually know abou this site.

Found it while looking for tips on how to request LORs from my profs.

Like everything else in my life; DUMB LUCK!

A premed friend of mine told me about it.

A premed friend, also- and I think I'm about 4000 times more addicted than she ever was:p

Googled for med school interview :)

I learned of SDN through the OPM board. I found them by doing a yahoo search on non-traditional pre-meds.

Working at Kaplan at the desk and saw lots of Med students studying for their step 2's. I always conversed with them a lot to learn more about applying to medical school. I guess they got tired of me one day and gave me this website so they could finnally get some studying done.

from a friend, i just recently got onto it, though.

OPM = Old Pre-Meds? :confused:

I think there is a site by that name...

Does anyone know the address for this site?

I think I did a random search for premed somewhere between my junior and senior years of high school. Knowing everything we all know now before I even entered college thanks to SDN made me the crappy premed I am today. Really ruined my college experience....and my social life...thanks SDN ;) ;)

a friend complained to me once how all the people on sdn complain about their 35 mcat scores so i decided to check it out for myself

a referral from the princeton review site - which is crap now but was much better 4-5 years ago.

I learned about it from the Princeton Review site, too.

I was actually looking for other sites like interviewfeedback.com, which went down right about the time I needed it most. Anyway, a classmate pointed me to SDN, and I'm thankful.:)

Princeton Review physics teacher.

I think it was google. Actually I was looking for Canadain specific forums. (If you google Ian Wong, pre med - has an excellent Canadian centric pre med forum for the canucks out there.)

a link on the princeton review boards
