How do they calculate our new GPA

hI ALL i have a question . If we decide to retake some undergard classes in order to improve our GPA. how do they calculate it. The new grade replace the old one or they just take the average of both.

I think that would depend on your school's policy.. sometimes it is written in your academic handbook. You probably can call the school and ask about that specific policy.. and if all grades are released on official transcripts or just certain grades.
