Medical How does AACOMAS traffic rules work?

Hello I had quick question regarding traffic rules for DO schools. I am currently accepted to one medical school. I had an interview yesterday for another medical school. I know that after May 15th students are allowed to only hold 1 spot. So if accepted to the medical school, im assuming I would have to IMMEDIATELY drop 1 the other school, correct?

"Therefore, prior to May 15, applicants need to withdraw from any college(s) which they do not plan to attend and only hold a position at one COM to avoid having positions withdrawn."

So yes, if you decide to accept a new offer, you must notify the other school of your intention to drop their offer. Immediately is preferred because someone on a waitlist depends on it, so be kind and considerate.
