I have a 3.83 GPA, I got a 31S (11 VR, 10 BS, 10 PS) on the MCAT. I've been working for a little over a year at a refugee clinic, I've worked in two research labs and have written a thesis on my project. I teach dance and I'm heavily involved in my cultural community.

How do I look? I'm not looking to get into a top-tier med school, but how are my chances for getting into a US school (preferably CU Med in Colorado)?

I'm just starting the selection process myself, but I think you are fine for US schools. I would certainly apply to CU as you are within range.

You probably need to prove that you know what you're getting into. Maybe get a little shadowing in from the clinic docs (or any others) to see the experience from their view.
