Hey everyone,
I have a group interview coming up and this is going to be my first interview...I have no idea on how the group interview works...there will be 3 students in a group being interviewed by 3 people (faculty, student and a pharmacist)...so when we're in a group do they ask the same question to everyone one by one? or they ask different questions? or do they ask a question and anyone can answer? so in that case its better to answer first or last? what if someone else gives out the answer and coincidently i had prepared with the same answer, then wouldnt that sound like i copied even though i didnt? pleaseee let me know how this group interview works, i'm really really confused..

Thank You so much.

Hey everyone, I have a group interview coming up and this is going to be my first interview...

use the first interview as an experience...the weird question will probably come from the student

so when we're in a group do they ask the same question to everyone one by one?

yes
or do they ask a question and anyone can answer?
yes

so in that case its better to answer first or last?
definitely last, out shine the other two kids.

what if someone else gives out the answer and coincidently i had prepared with the same answer, then wouldnt that sound like i copied even though i didnt?
it usually doesn't happen. if do, say "I also ......at the same time, i have extra .........."

group interview is easy.

Since your interviewing a Midwestern-Glendale... it'll be like this... each person will get a chance to answer the question... in the beginning it will be ice breaker questions to get to know you... after that they get down to the nitty gritty and ask about your pharmacy experience... you will sometimes go first... and sometimes go second and sometimes go last... the professor or dean that's interviewin' you will choose a person to go first so that everyone gets a chance to express themselves first so that no student is picked on constantly... I hope this helps... Gluck with your interview... 👍

thank you soo much everyone for all the help! and thank you soo much hello18 for the help in both of my questions! i really appreciate it 🙂

hmmmm hi to all🙂 i was just reading the input about midwestern glendale interview. I had an interview on the 24th and i went into panel where the interviewers asked me every single question first! haha i was a bit surprised and i felt like i was at an unfair advantage for some of the questions. I didn't really get a chance to think on some of them that i truly did need time for. i felt like my interviewers were quite bored with us. I was really hoping to have a good conversation with them. I felt like i was on trial the entire time i was in there😳 i was a bit frustrated by the end of the interview.

Good luck to all that receive interviews🙂
