at mine, there is one faculty for every 6-8 students doing all restorative procedures. there is three restorative faculty per clinic. there is one perio and hygienist for seperate perio exams/maintenance and one endo for urgent care
yes there are time were you will have to wait in a long line for faculty approval because they give start checks, check in during appointments, discuss treatment plans, approve notes lab scripts and do restorative consults. I once waited 1.5 hours after a start check to go over exam findings. I also have had to wait an entire clinical session to get lab scripts or notes approved
