How early should I sign up for the DAT?

Hi everyone,

I was just wondering how early I should sign up for the DAT if I want to take it in early 2018 (between January and March?). I want to have my scores available early enough so that way I can apply for the 2019 cycle when the application pool opens on June 1st of next year.
If you guys have any other pieces of advice in this subject, I'd greatly appreciate it!

When you register for the DAT, you get a 6 month window of time during which you can schedule your exam. If you wanted to take the exam between January and March, I would register at the end of December. That way your 6 months of eligibility will cover January-March but also extend through to June in case you need to push the exam date back further.
