How is it fair....

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
The fact that the OP as well as many of the other posters claiming they go to these top colleges aren't posting anything about their social lives is telling. I don't mean that as an insult, but as a sign that they aren't managing their mental health with a fair work/life balance. It's not good when SDN posters have to tell people to do simple things like go to the gym.

Your avatar is great. This thread, not so much.

Hey OP, you sound like the old version of me. "Mehh, school is hard, and people are cheating the system by going to easier schools. People are also abusing URM policies by claiming partial ethnicities, mehhh." Well, you'll find out that this place is full of people like this, and that they'll always derail your threads whenever you post about how screwed up the medical school admission system is.

Start to raise awareness about how people are gaming the system, and call out people that support/condone it. Don't hate, participate. Things can change. Don't give up hope. Be a beacon.

Yeah OPs claims are a little far fetched. You could find students in every niche and corner of the USA that can out perform at least some of the students at UChicago.

But fair point, UChicago is still up there among the "toughest" schools

Agreed and to go further, there are a lot of students out there that can outperform most students at top schools like U Chicago. Not all top students go to top schools.
