How is the job market in Arkansas?

Anyone know anything about the private practice groups in the state? Is it best in the capital city or elsewhere? I'm coming from a small program in Massachusetts and am considering moving there to be closer to my wife's family.

Im a 4th year med student at UAMS. after rotating with anesthesiology upper level residents who were looking for spots, I got the sense that there werent many in little rock. however you could def find a spot else where. i heard mountain home was in need of some anesthesiologist.

There cannot be that many hospitals close to your wife's family. Fire up google and start making some phone calls.
