How late am I?

Hey everyone! This is my first post on SDN and I am really excited to heard your thoughts about my situation. I just finished junior year in my university and I am taking my DATs this August. However, I am trying to apply by the first week of June when applications open up so I can be in the pool of early applicants. The reason why I am worried about my timing is because of my academic situation. My current overall GPA is a 3.742. However, my first semester of freshman year I failed Chemistry 1 and Calculus 1. SInce then I have retaken both subjects and received a B+ and A. How will these failures affect my chances? I am a biology major with a chem minor. What do you guys this? Thanks! :)
