For finacial reasons I have not yet submitted my AMCAS application. For those about to mention the fee waiver my parents refused to give me their financial information. In the coming week (by September 19th or so) I should financially be able to send off this app (I have April MCAT scores so that shouldn't hold me up). My question is, is it too late? Another question is, how important is it to have a letter of rec from a physician?

    Thanks

  2. I think everything with AMCAS has halted, so there is no deadline...

if you feel you have a better chance, and want to apply next year then go ahead....Things have gone horrible this year in every way possible.

If on the other hand, you still want to apply this year, then go ahead...I don't think there is such a thing as being "late"...well not anymore anyway
