How long should a personal statement be for an SMP program?

And is there any difference between a statement of purpose and a personal statement?

How long the personal statement should be depends on the SMP. If you can't find it on their website, call them.

And I don't think that there's any difference between a statement of purpose and a personal statement.

Use the specs for the AMCAS personal statement. Convince the SMP that you're a good bet for med school, not just for the SMP.
