oh settle down. life is good. no need to worry yourself. chances are you will never know who i am, and if you do this will probably never come up. but im sure every school has dumb "trolls" like myself.
but seriously i was kidding, this topic never seems to end. sorry if you got offended.

You probably just want to make everyone else wait. What an inconsiderate person.

@bieberblast-have you already been accepted to Creighton? I saw that you were on the waitlist, but hopefully you got in. And if you're really upset at mr24, he's just messing around because this topic has been beaten to death. Don't be so upright, we've got a long four years ahead of us.

glad you saw the sarcasm! this is my second time applying after being waitlisted at 3 schools last year, including creighton. so i would never hold a spot somewhere else knowing i wouldnt go there.

anyway glad someone got it.

its until you get to decide on one school. If you have deposits at more than one place that means you are going to get that phone call.

I thought it was near the middle of April? It's April 1st?

Oh nice. I guess the waitlists will really start moving then.

Thanks for sharing that.

"Applicants holding positions at multiple institutions. Dental schools participating in AADSAS will report to AADSAS by April 1, the names and identification numbers of candidates who have paid a deposit and/or hold a position in their entering class. After April 5, AADSAS will report to each institution the names of candidates in their entering class who are holding
acceptance(s) at additional institutions. Dental schools will have the option of rescinding an offer of admission to candidates who have paid deposits and are holding positions at multiple institutions. Dental schools with candidates holding multiple positions on April 1of the year of admission will give such candidates a minimum 15-day notice if they choose to withdraw them from the entering class. This policy will be evaluated every two years by the ADEA Section of Dental School Admissions Officers to assess its impact on applicants and dental schools and provide applicants a reasonable time-frame to complete their enrollment process."

phew. glad I read this on time but sad to have to withdraw from columbia 🙁

Okay, so potential stupid question -- forgive me please, I've been on cloud nine since I got accepted to schools and haven't really been paying attention to anything for a couple of months 🙂 . Do you also need to call the schools where you're "under review" to withdraw? I've already called the schools where I was holding spots, but there's one school that still says "under review" in my AADSAS application. It's not like I'm going to get an interview from them at this point, and I know where I want to go, but I didn't know if I still needed to contact them.

Actually you have fallen off the cloud. If you were on the cloud you would have been current or up to date. Anyways, its up to you to let the under review people know or not. You are only responsible for withdrawing from the schools that you have been accepted(except for the one you wanted to attend). That's it. They moved the date due to 3 new d-school openings.
