How many questions are you guys doing in your timed blocks?

I'd recommend staying at 48. Time was more of an issue on the actual Step for me than it was on UW or Qbank. Some blocks there was no trouble, but I had two blocks were time was very tight, even more so than doing 48 on UW.

hmm thats a good point.. since time was an issue for mein my first diagnostic i would probably be better served under increased time constraints.

although on a positive note, i did my first two timed blocks this morning (the first 7 were all tutor mode) and my scores didnt change a bit (they still suck! haha jk, shootin around 57% right now)... but I made about 5 really stupid mistakes, i should have gotten 5 more questions than I did out of 98

I found that I like doing sets of 24 instead - it seems shorter than doing 1/2 of 48. (if that makes any sense).

I found that doing a set of 24 and ensuring I complete it within 27 minutes, helps with the time variable.

I've only been doing blocks of 48... figure the real thing has longer question stems so might as well build up some endurance.

One thing I was wonder is if you do fewer questions in a timed block, does it still give you an hour to complete them, or will it reduce the alloted time accordingly?

I didn't realize it was 46 now, but I think I'll just stick w/ 48 b/c that is how I calculated how long it would take me to finish so I don't want to mess it up

same amount of time.. but supposedly theyre removing most of the one-two sentence questions.. so the time pressure will be the same

I meant for UW question blocks haha... I know the real thing is still the same.

I'm sticking with the 48 question blocks because my percentages tend to be higher. Uworld may be destroying my sense of self-worth, but I'm trying to hang in there.
