For personal reasons I applied to one and only one school; KCOM. I got in!!! I was very impressed with the tour and especially the new OMM and simulator labs. I don't think that I made a mistake, as I wouldn't have been satisfied going elsewhere. It was way cheaper this way too!! 😛

I still think DMU is not as non-trad friendly as people seem to make it on these boards. I am not bashing the school, just my impression. It was a great school in a nice city. Cold cold cold though.

I know the MCAT is kind of low, but I did lots of job shadowing, worked in a doctor's office for awhile, volunteered, lived abroad teaching English and did a lot of undergraduate research in biochemistry and environmental chemistry.
