How many upper-level science courses does it take in order to impress the adcoms, or atleast show them that I can handle the more difficult science classes? 😀 thanks
Oh, and how many hours do I need to take every semester?
And, is it okay if I only take 2 science classes each semester?

Ad adcom memeber told me they look for 15 units per semester, with 12 of that being science.
OK, I made up the part about the adcom member telling me that. But it sounds like a good course load. BTW, you're starting an excessive amount of threads related solely to your course schedule.

Just take as many upper level courses that you can. If you are going to take only 2 courses regardless of them being science or non science you need something else to go along with that, such as work commitments.

if you are a biology major you will take a lot of the recommended upper division biology classes anyways to complete your degree, so you shouldnt have to worry.

i took about 2 science classes a quarter for 4 years. the first 2 years i did most of the pre-reqs. the last 2 years i finished all the upper division requirements needed for my major (biology).

do what blankguy said. just take as many as you can

if you are not a biology major, you dont HAVE to take as many as i did. if taking too much biology courses will delay you from graduating or something then dont take so many?

take as many as you can because it will only make dental school easier. there a lot of people in my class who havent had physiology, biochem, or embryology that are having a harder time than if they had them. micro is also a class that is helpful.
