Hey, I am really scared. I dropped a semester (5 W's) because of financial issues, but I am taking this calculus course and I just can not do it. I studied a month before the test, got a tutor and also went to the prof. for explanations. At the day of the test I completely panicked and I think I failed even when I know I knew the stuff. Anyways I have a 4.0 GPA so far and I want to know if dropping this one will hurt too much. It would be a total of 6 Ws. Thanks

Don't drop the calc course unless you think you'll get a C or less. Regardless, don't get anymore from here on out.

Address the dropped semester in your application.

Breathe, you'll be fine.

Yes, I am waiting till past minute in case I can fix the grade, but I probably wont be abble.

There are far far worse things than having to drop a semester due to unforseen circumstances out of your control early in your college career. That's what W's are made for. If you keep up the good grades that one semester years ago isnt going to do much to affect your chances much come the year you choose to apply; youll be fine.
