How much do you remember after taking all of your prerequisite courses and the MCAT?

I use trig quite often for a hobby of mine, but not calc usually.

Basic algebra is something I use daily.

In med school a lot of foundational ideas are taught with algebra / calculus. Once you start med school it's more of a theoretical understanding of what makes an equation bigger/smaller for calc, but algebra is still used frequently (as poster said above) to solve and understand relationships.

Algebra is my all-time favorite math subject. In high school, I never had to study for an algebra test. It always came to me so easily due to pretty high pattern recognition ability. I think this is why I like histology and pathology so much because you need to recognize patterns in abnormal vs. normal cellular architecture under the microscope. It's amazing when you know your strengths and can put the pieces of your life puzzle together.
