Hey SDN,
I'm just curious as to how this application cycle will fare after getting 4 interviews last cycle but no accepts (2 wait-lists). I ended up applying fairly late last cycle (mid-SMP) and also had a low MCAT (11/7/11 29P). Do most schools that interview you once, commonly offer another interview?
After finishing Georgetown's SMP with a 3.75 GPA, I'm curious as to how that will weigh compared to my 3.35/3.4 (cum/sci) ugGPA? From what I hear, it is one of the better SMPs in the country, so I hope this GPA is good enough? The SMP had 6 medical courses, 4 with an anatomy section.
I have also retaken the MCAT following the SMP in July (11/10/10 - 31) and have been complete with most all schools since mid-August.
My question is whether or not the Georgetown SMP is good/high enough for admissions committees to substitute for a medicore MCAT + low ugGPA.
Thanks
