How often do you call up schools?

How often do you call the schools you're applying to? and what kind of questions do you ask them?
Do you call if you get a rejection also? and what do you say?

Uhhh... I only call them if there seems to be a problem with my app (usually missing stuff that shouldn't be missing). I've had to call various schools surprisingly more often than I thought I would have to.

I would not call unless you suspect there's a problem. Processing time can take a while and make you antsy.

I have yet to call a school besides for a tour earlier

i give them the week to cash my check before i call and make sure everything is alright.

I would only call to make sure all your stuff is arrived and in good order, I wouldn't ask if they've already looked at it, or asking if the receptionist has any idea what they think of you...thats ridiculous lol

I also think calling because of a rejection is a little backwards too...just move on, calling and asking for an explanation isn't going to get you in, they've made their decision
