When you guys signed up for the MCAT did you think, "I need to pick a date based on when I'll be ready because this is a one time thing, even if that date is a little later" or "I need to pick a date that will leave me room to retake the MCAT if I need to before the cycle opens, but I still plan to take it only once".

Sometimes I think the latter. I know I want to do it once and do it right but the fear in me wants to leave room to take it again if I need to. Is that cautious and smart or just setting myself up to expect less and not work as hard?

I figure taking the MCAT is about confidence and so is the whole application process. So, it starts now. This is a ONE TIME THING. Registered for the latter date and going to rock it!
