I applied 2021-2022 and it's looking likely I will have to reapply. I think an obvious point of improvement are my personal statement and secondaries.
For my personal statement it was reviewed by my parents, as well as a med student who was offering review services, and a physician who is a family friend. They all have some input and tweaks, mainly minor changes to sentence structure, but all gave overall positive reviews.
My secondaries I mostly did myself, and I wonder if the subject of my diversity essay was a poor choice, or if the overall quality suffered due to the volume.
Anyway what is the best way to get good feedback on content and overall quality of PS and secondaries? There are many med students offering review services, should I use them again?
