How do you formally withdraw from a school? In other words, there are some secondaries I do not want to send (I want to withdraw from that school). Do I just NOT send the secondary, or should I call the school and tell them that?

thanks

I withdrew from Wayne State after they offered an interview. I called to do so, and they told me to send an email to the committee "formally" removing myself from the applicant pool. Maybe this formula will suffice for you?

I chose not to complete the Penn State or U Mich secondaries; I just left them be and didn't really do anything. I haven't heard from them nor them from me.

I would only send in a withdrawal notice if you receive an interview invite that you do not wish to attend. There is no need to send a notice if you haven't sent in a secondary.

agreed.

Creighton sent me a secondary invite which I blew off and then after the interviewing process was well over they sent me a really nasty letter to the effect that they were reporting me to AMCAS. I'm not really sure what it meant but the tone was far from cordial so I think they were trying to scare me. 🙄
