Unfortunately I did not taking my science classes seriously at a cc because I foolishly believed those credits would not be accumulated towards my final sGPA. I took Bio 1, Bio 2, and Chem 1 getting a B, D+, and B+. I also took one math course where I earned a B. How much will this affect me in the long run once I apply for dental school? I want to retake Bio 1 and 2 at a four-year and earn the As. I am planning to transfer to UB for the spring semester. Any information would be appreciated.

Then start taking classes more seriously.

Retake the course you earned a D+ in.

Good job.

As-is credentials; very much. Major improved credentials; the possibilities are endless.

Retake if you feel that you're lacking basic fundamental principles; otherwise, I'd stick to taking relevant UL bio courses/classes.

Make sure to have a comprehensive understanding of the relevant sciences. Definitely do shadow a general dentist.

Good luck with your goals.🙂
