Hey everyone! Ok so I have a situation.... Howard requires Human Anantomy as a requirement but does not require Biology, it's just recommended... I've taken biology but not Human Anatomy do you think that I would have to take Human Anatomy or do you think that Biology would be enough...😳

When I called they told me that it needed to be anatomy and biology courses would not fulfill the requirement. You could always apply and find out, but I figure they say it for a reason.

They say its required but I dont think they strictly enforce it. (I never took it and I got in). Just do good on your DAT and keep your GPA up. Then apply and see what they say. I doubt they will reject you just because of that one class if your stats are competive. And if they say you need to take it then just plan to take it after you apply. That way you can kinda play it by ear.👍

Yeah, I got accepted at Howard without taking anatomy. I did take physio though. They also say they don't accept community college credit for pre-reqs and I took Ochem, Gchem, and Physics before I transferred - so I'm guessing they're willing to bend the rules for people they like.

Good luck, and just talk to their admissions people, they were really nice.

Oh ok, thanks for replying!!
