I've done 20 secondaries, but my list is pretty top heavy. I was planning on applying to Brown as another "mid-tier" school, but it looks like it's not that easy to get into considering that a lot of the seats go to PLME students, and I'm afraid that it might not be too fun to be a med student at a school where half the class has already spent 4 years of bonding together.
I'm looking to not waste $105 on a secondary if it's going to be really hard to get into and not that great of a place to go...
Is Brown harder to get into than the stats might indicate? I have GPA > 3.9 and MCAT > 36, with research, volunteering, clinical, leadership, and the whole shebang. Does anybody know how med students find the whole PLME thing? Is it cliquey? I don't know anyone at Brown...
