Does that mean folks on the WL can actually get rejected before all students have even committed? I’m getting scared too early

Current student accepted off the waitlist during my cycle - Brown does pull students from the waitlist starting in like early may (based on what happened during my cycle). To my knowledge, they don't reject before they get a sense of how many have committed; they started rejecting/accepting after that during my cycle but I'm not directly involved with admissions. happy to talk specifics or give advice privately if you want to message me

Brown was easily my favorite interviewers. Super friendly people. Even the surgeon interviewers haha

Brown holds the bulk of their apps to mass reject at the end. If you make it that far it means you were at least competitive and were a good fit for their program, but as cliche as it is, they really do only have spots for a certain number of qualified applicants. You make it that far just know it probably came down to luck on who ended up getting those last few IIs and you were just as deserving as everyone else.
