I'm still good with a stagg lynch tomorrow. AM may have been a third party, but I bet she was actually wolf-hunting as she likes village more then wolves. Going to think on my dubz read, though I'm thinking it leans her village. She would definitely save chaos (especially if its AM) no matter affiliation so NAI for her. Its really weird AM didn't tell mel she was third party...but I don't see why he would lie about that.

Night 4

That night, someone also had thought to clean the barn, but carelessly discarded many things they should have never touched. Ratty saddle pads, expired bute, and extraneous baling twine all were binned. Deep in a tack trunk, an old dusty toy was found. Little did that stablehand know just how lifelike and smart that cotton-coated horse was... so they toy was tossed haphazardly in the trash as well. It would only be a matter of time before he met a very warm final resting place...

The shelter kill is bothering me from my overnight thoughts. She wasn't being that active, so why kill her? Her ability was also something not really that worthy of if having found out, she needed to be killed for. It makes me wonder if capri and/or bryndi killed her so they could chat and have a vouch PM partner.

I was with you up until the end there. What. No. I don't PM unless PM'd to first, generally. I recognize this ends up not being the best strategy for me in some situations but I subscribe to the notion that most things ordinarily put in PMs actually belong on thread.

SERIOUSLY guys, unless you think it's going to advance the wolf agenda to know something, the villagers are uninformed majority. The only thing we have going for us is putting our heads together to compare notes and find wolves.

The rest should be shared with the class. I get that some secrets must be kept to keep wolves from finding out about PRs. But be careful what info you're keeping secret and brokering for "trust" in PMs. Be careful about saying things in PM that you're not sharing on thread. It can make you look dishonest and LAL principle has caused many a mislynch (lynch all liars). Villagers need to do their best to be honest and appear so to others. PM secretiveness and talking behind people's backs (sharing suspicions by PM but not on thread) increases paranoia.

There are people that use PM privacy to network and share intel and advance a villager agenda. But please be careful. I say this having maybe screwed up myself this game.

I don't think wz said AM was hard village.. I think wz made statements like "She is definitely NOT a wolf" which WAS true...🙄

AM told me explicitly to trust Dubz.

So naturally I didn't trust her, but been talking to her in PM and she's made sense. Specifically, if dubz is a wolf and had set up AM, like we both apparently came to the same conclusion about, then she would have redirected AM's kill to someone other than who the wolves were targetting, then outed AM on thread. The way things played out would not have been the efficient wolf play. now there are only 2 deaths (ski and AM) where there could have been 3.

Hmm. This is a good point which makes me want to lean you more village.

It seems like nowadays we mostly use PMs to destroy and betray and pocket and burn village to the ground. To answer your earlier question.

I remember back when I started, I used PMs to discuss mechanics a lot, because certain people would lynch you if you talked about them too early on thread (looks like wolf fishing?) I feel like you have pushed the current ww crew to be willing to discuss mechanics on thread without getting lynch which is nice.

But I still like PMs. They are a cozy place to talk during short breaks when I don't have time to catch up on 10 pages of thread. And as long as you are aware that they are used to pocket and betray and be cautious of who you throw your trust out too, I still think they can be very useful.

She pocketed me plain and simple. Wanna know how?

Paws dropped into my PM (Mods made it seem like it was because I voted for her but I think it was misleading). I told AM to see how she would react. AM suggested I try asking if there were third parties in the game.
Moot point because Paws said she didn’t know anything (or just wouldn’t tell me anything if she did know).
She’s still chillin in my role PM and we’ve been shooting the breeze. Held off talking about this on thread until I’d thoroughly investigated just in case it was info that would help wolves. After a couple days I think she’s just in the game for shiggles.


Point is, AM telling me to ask that question pretty much solidified my village read on her and her being third party didn’t cross my mind.
