Starting this in advance 🙂 good luck everyone!
Still nothing…I hate waiting…I am also limited to small geographic area in northeast so was not expecting to hear back soon
Waitlisted at Penn yesterday, otherwise no.Anyone hear from Philly programs?
"Thank you for your application and interest in the Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. This year's applicant pool was extremely competitive. We are unable to offer you an interview at this time, but you have been placed on our Wait List. We will be in touch if an opening becomes available."What does the waitlist email say exactly? I haven’t heard back from Penn yet :/
I agree with the programs taking their time this year, it feels slower compared to the timeline last year…
Still waiting to hear from AZ programs myself. Applied to almost all of them.Anyone heard from any of the AZ programs (Mayo, U of A, Honor Health)?
So the other community programs I’ve heard from are Georgia based: Wellstar and Northeast Georgia.^I'd be interested in hearing which community program invites you've heard from! 🙂
7/24 - Tulane
7/25 - Stanford, NIH, Prisma (SC)
7/26 - Ohio State
7/27 - Indiana University, U of Colorado
7/28 - UC Irvine, Mayo Clinic (MN), Saint Joseph
7/31- Cincinnati Children's
8/2 - U of Tenn (Memphis), Kaiser Permanente Fontana, New York Presbyterian Hospital (Columbia and Cornell Campus)

I feel like by late august would be appropriate?I'm curious about sending letters of interest as well. I applied to a limited number or programs as I'm geographically constrained by caregiver and family needs and am a non traditional applicant (hoping to transition from primary care after 10+ years in practice). I haven't heard anything at all and am losing hope. Do program directors find additional communications annoying or are they pretty standard application practice? Wishing everyone good luck this season!
Sorry to hear that! Out of curiosity, where have you applied? For example, a lot of Northeast programs apparently haven't sent out invites yet. I wouldn't lose hope yet!I'm curious about sending letters of interest as well. Thanks for the encouragement. I'm in an information void here. I applied almost exclusively in Massachusetts. It sounds like I need to be patient. I hope the process is less stressful for you all 🙂Sorry to hear that! Out of curiosity, where have you applied? For example, a lot of Northeast programs apparently haven't sent out invites yet.
