HPSP Dental students - Does your class rank play a role on where you get stationed?

I know that you can choose your top bases right before graduating, and that they take it in to consideration but nothing is guaranteed (In fact a lot of the time it means nothing). However, someone was telling me that you are more likely to get stationed at one of your top choices if you are finishing top of your class.

Anybody know if this has any truth to it or not? This was the first time I heard it.
