I've looked, but can't find an answer to this scenario. I can't go to OBLC before I start school, as the only AMEDD OBLC overlaps my start date. My school also runs too long to do it in between 1st and 2nd year. The recruiter tells me that I can do it after graduation. My question is this: am I going to get hosed into doing it in between 3rd and 4th year instead of doing an ADT to a MEDCEN in order to set myself up for the match?
(The recruiters told me that it would be fine to do it after graduating. Although, they also told me that it could be put off until after residency if the residency program started too early, which seems dubious.)
Also, are the ADT timeframs locked in to anything specific? Meaning, if I wanted to do an ADT for 45 days in, say October/November, is that possible (school willing of course)? Or are they restricted to summers?
