Hello! I'm wondering if anyone else is in the Houston area, and is suppose to take the MCAT test the first or second of September. How do you feel about taking the test during the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey? I'm a little distressed with the flooding and seeing many people in the shelters.

It sucks. But you'll see a lot of trauma as a physician, whether its in your rotations or the specialty you go into. Try not to let this disturb you too much and if you feel like it is, then cancel the date or void the exam but I don't recommend this.
Calm down as much as you can these last few days/hours and remember all the work you've put into this exam and go into it with a calm and confident mind.
