I have been studying for boards for about 7 weeks now. I just recentlly began to buck down at the beginning of this month and put 8-10 hours into it a day. I have not really studied Anatomy but I have read almost all of the Kaplan books except for Path which I read the BRS Path. I should finish behavioral science to day.

I really feel burned out and don't feel that I can read another book. My test is at the end of march. I wanted to get soem thoughts on maybe skipping First Aid and just going straight Qbank from here on out. Thanks.

I would start QBank and get through every question. Look up the stuff that you dont know cold in FA (you wont find most of it) and skim through the rest of FA, if you can. Cut your days in half (if you were doing 8 hours, 4 should be good from here on out) and I think you should do fine.

Yup, I agree. Nothing wrong with doing questions all day, but just be sure to look up stuff that you don't understand in the answer explanations. I also definitely would not throw away first aid quite yet. While you don't have to sit and read it cover to cover, you should be constantly reviewing it whenever you get tired of doing questions or are away from your computer. It's a "light" read. Good luck and hang in there! Be sure to schedule at least 1 day per week where you are completely off and think nothing about the USMLE.

Sounds like you could use a day off. Better to be well rested and mentally sharp then burned out.

Go see a movie or go out to dinner.
