arrgh I just failed a calculus quiz. How much more abysmally stupid can I get. The question asked to prove that f(x^2)=2x using the limit definition..

Of course, you're supposed to get f(x+h)-f(x)/h
=(x+h)^2-(x)^2/h
Which gives you eventually 2x +4.
Of course, right when I needed to remember it, I forgot that (x+h)^2=(x+h)(x+H).

YARRRRRRRRRRGH:mad:   +pissed+

oops again.
I meant which gives you 2x +h, and since h approaches 0, =2x

Arrgh still mad.

Don't worry to much. I got C's in every math course I have every taken since high school. I got to Calculus and got a B!!! I should have got a C if you go by percents, but the curve is so bad in most calculus classes, you can expect a letter higher. Just get a C and you are good.
