When are you supposed to hear back? Did they give you a time frame? They told us they'd decide on 10/11 and the letterhead wad dated 10/11 so they mailed it pretty much right on time!
I know it's SOOOO hard to be patient! Hang in there! I feel good news coming on 😀

they said we'd hear back by mail by October 31 -- lol, patience is tough to muster... 😀

To celebrate... hmmm.... well for starters I put down all my PCAT study materials and I'm callin' it quits for the rest of the day! Tonight when my parents get home from work we'll probably go out for dinner or something! They're really excited too! YAY~!

i have completed my supplemental. pharmcas just mailed my printouts out last week so i probably wont hear from samford for another week or so. how long did it take you to hear from them after your printout was mailed and you supplemental was turned in?

You said Samford but I think you're talking about Mercer 😉 I'm also applying to Samford by the way... I haven't turned in my supplemental for them yet since they aren't rolling and I'm BROKE!
Anyway, let's see.... PharmCas mailed my app on August 25th. I did my supplemental for Mercer on September 5th. They mailed my interview invitation on September 21st. My interview was September 30th. They said they would make decisions on October 11th. My acceptance letter was dated Tuesday the 11th and I received it today (the 14th). So they are very timely! Which is nice for those of us who are developing ulcers over this whole process!
I'm not sure if they start giving interviews before they view a PCAT score or not. You haven't taken it yet right? But once they have everything they need they are very quick about evaluating your profile. Good luck! And hang in there!

Well, as you read in my other post (thanks for the post 🙂 ) I don't know if I'll ever make it to applying, but my heart is set on UGA. I have 2 friends that are PS2 at Mercer and they love it. I guess they love the 21+k tuition bill too 😉 . More than likely I will apply to Mercer, UGA, and a couple of schools in Texas. So I assume you've had a chance to look around the Atlanta area? Feel free to ask me questions about the area if you are not already familiar with the location. I won't sugar coat the answers. 😳

You should apply now, having just those few classes left! I really liked Mercer when I visited. It's nothing like I imagined. I pictured it in the middle of downtown with tons of traffic. Possibly in a dangerous area. It was sort of secluded, surrounded by trees and had lots of cute little neighborhoods within a mile or two. I really liked the area actually. Of course I only saw a small part of Atlanta but I'll PM you if I come up with any questions 🙂 Obviously, UGA would be much cheaper. Good luck!

One word of caution, don't go to Northlake Mall, which is the closest mall to Mercer. Try Perimeter which is like 15 mins away. You'll thank me later..lol.

I got accepted in Feb.. many years ago.. and that was considered fairly early.
