Hey, fellas! In two days I have my first real (not for a student job or anything) job interview!!!!!! Its for a job that I really, really want but I'm trying not to get my hopes up, as its the first time I'm gonna take 'tests' and have an oral interview.... *nervous* Plus, I'm thinking of wearing this skirt with a nice pump to interview. (You know I hate pant suit, too old for me) So wdyt? Is it qualified enough for a formal interview??

Pencil skirt to me screams office administrator / paralegal, not health care professional. I can't even remember the last time I saw a female in a skirt in a pharmacy or at the hospital. Never probably.

That said, if you're absolutely dead set on an above-the-knee pencil skirt, that one seems pretty low key and professional enough.

Good luck on your interview!

Personally, I like Girl's wearing:

Business skirt > Pencil Skirt > Pant suit

But then again, I'm not all that familiar with what is formal enough for interviews. Best of luck on the job interview!

Can someone tell me what a pump is? I've it all over the place lately and still don't have a clue.

Good luck though. What's the interview for?

Assuming your job interview is in a professional field, always always always wear a business suit. There are plenty of women's business suits which are skirt and coat.

is this a joke or am i getting the wrong link? the link i have is to a slip. since slips are a type of undergarment, no i would not recommend that to a professional interview.

there is nothing i hate more than wearing a business suit, especially a pant suit, but there are plenty of good skirts out there you can wear with a button down collared shirt.
