Does anyone know if I could get my NYU and Case Western acceptances rescinded...? OMG...🙁

You'll get a letter in the mail stating what their requirements are for you to matriculate next fall. Usually most schools want you to just pass. Some will ask you maintain a certain GPA if your application was borderline acceptable to them. I wouldn't worry too much so long as you pass. 😉

I would bet the majority of schools' conditions (MWU-AZ's does) say you have to maintain a C or better in prerequisite classes. It mentions nothing about non-prereq classes, aside from meeting minimum GPA requirements. Now, if you get straight D's in 4 upper level bio classes (not saying you are or will), that's still not a good thing and who knows what they would say to that. But, you'll probably be okay with where you're at? I'm not sure what your grades will be.

Thanks. My acceptance letter doesn't say any specific except that I have to maintain satisfactory grade that reflect past's achievement. Hopefully nothing bad happens that takes away my four years of hardwork. But these bio classes are hard!!!

i don't want to scare you but I had a friend rescinded for getting a C+ in a science class his last semester. they gave him the option of taking one more semester of classes if he got no less than a B and they would interview him the following cycle. now he's killing those classes. schools may differ though.

Do you know his gpa for the semester? Even though I'm not confident about this, I think the C+ class itself didn't cause him to get the acceptance rescinded. Maybe he got B-s or Bs for all other classes too or something. Yeah, just curious, what school was it?
