Man. I feel like any time I'm in a group with one of the WW masters, he's always killed off way too early. And he would have been very helpful. Stupid wolves.

So other than what's been said here I only know that SOV seemed to kind of trust FH and I haven't heard anything from nohika or BT. They haven't been too active and they didn't respond to my friendly "Hi" pm that I like to send out (especially after having been burned one game for not chatting enough behind the scenes🙁). I'm ok with right after noon. So long as the PM is 'postmarked' 12:00 or later (central!).

In general, my lynches close at the deadline even if I'm not here to close them. The exception would be if I explicitly extend it.

My reasoning for allowing them right at noon is that it is the most fair for people on a tight schedule to give them a chance to participate.

I don't PM during WW unless it's important. If I don't have anything to share you won't hear from me. If you don't believe me have a look at some of the older WW games in the lounge that have a designated "no PMing" house. You will always find me in that house. If I had known that ignoring your super important "Hi" PM would hurt your feelings so much I definitely would have done it anyway.

Based on past WW games, I think SOV would be more cautious than that. (I am thinking back to the time I trusted Krist, a wolf, and I am trying to remember if it was SOV or one of the other respected elders that told me it was dumb for me to trust anyone that well).

I am a little doubtful that SOV would be that dumb this early on.

I guess that makes sense. No hurt feelings. Just was told I didn't PM enough once (though I was responding) and everyone said I was a wolf. 🙁

Nope. He just felt she was fairly trustworthy. I did think about that when I first found out he was dead. And though it could make sense, it just didn't seem to make as much sense as it should.

Cohort 2 and Cohort 6 both have mushers who were killed by the bad guys. Notice how those two cohorts are the only cohorts where the remaining members have all of their dogs. During night 1 and night 2 every other cohort lost dogs (JJ gained). The mushers from cohorts 2 & 6 who lost dogs were the ones who were killed. I'm sure this means something but I just got off of work and eating pancakes and sleeping is more important to me than trying to figure this out. I'll let one of you guys do the heavy lifting.

I went back through the thread (both to find the day/night results so I can bookmark them for future reference, and so I can see if anything jumps out at me) and these things caught my attention:

1. Foxhunter is the only player who has moved groups. Since it was during the first night, I thought that maybe one player would get moved every night, but it hasn't happened again.

2. Trematode's posts. I can't decide if she never read the rules, or what, but this struck me as extremely odd:

I created an item last night... mainly to tea the dynamics of the game. I wasn't sure if my item would be RNGed to a random person or not. I wanted to get an item in before I missed out. I didn't really have the time to ask the mods how the whole thing worked.

I mean, it was clearly stated that we (attempt to) create and use our own objects. But I dunno. Maybe it's just my low tolerance for people who don't read.

I'm not sure it means anything, tbh, though I did note it too. When I've been a wolf in these games people have had all kinds of justifications for picking targets and so I don't feel comfortable making any kinds of judgements based on that.
