what would you do differently when prepping for the MCAT? Or not?

i.e. would you have rathered studied on your own, taken or not taken a commercial prep course, done more passages & less studying or vice versa, used X materials instead of Y materials, started studying earlier, etc...

The only thing I would have done differently, would be to study more magnet/electric. I can only hope that I had a really good guessing day.

instead of assuming that knowing PV=nRT would solve for them.

yeah, it was odd that there were random name recall questions like that...I didn't think the MCAT was supposed to be a useless factoid test. I had one that asked what the 1st Law of Thermodynamics was. What does that matter if you know what all of the laws are (just not in order) and you know how to apply them?

There's always 1 or 2 questions in every section that simply cannot be studied for, or would be a waste of time to study for.....

Maybe its to separate the 14s from the 15s......

I don't any particular subject would have helped that much.

I learned the same lesson about staying in control. If only I knew then what I know now-that others were having similar difficulties during the exam.

I would practice doing the PS & BS sections in 90 mins and verbal in 80 mins.

I had no significant timing problems when taking practice tests, but in the testroom and on the REAL THING it was an entire different ball game.
