would you be more likely to give me an interview (18/18/18 gpa 3.39) if i do or don't indicate that i'm going to retake the DAT on my app (being sent next week). i'm 90% sure that i'm going to retake, though i can't until beginning of october because i need to wait 90 days. i guess in the event that i get offered an interview or two before october i may not retake it.

i'm hoping if i don't indicate that i'm going to retake, my scores will be good enough for interview...i don't want my app to get tossed aside because new DAT scores will be arriving in october.

Applicants are judged on the stats presented not on what they might be presenting in the future. Stating intentions on retaking is blowing in the wind since the plan may not come to fruition and since potential retakes may lead to higher or lower scores.

If you indicate that you will be taking the DAT again in near future, then the schools will put your application on hold, for reasons stated above /\
