IHR Textbooks?

MS 2 here starting Infection and Host Response next week. Can anyone suggest some textbooks to augment lectures and handouts? There is no textbook listed for the course.

IHR? Is that just microbiology? Get CMMRS + Microcards if that's the case. They're both excellent! I used CMMRS for bacteria and parasites -- it's virus section is pretty weak, IMHO. Microcards were great for everything.

If it also involves immunology, "How the immune system works" by Lauren Sompayrac is really good for conceptual understanding and Levinson's great for more of the details.
 
I second all the above resources, especially microcards. I got a copy of the second edition cards for dirt cheap on half.com. They're great.

these are great suggestions. I even used CMMRS for step 1 studying, helped a ton.

Haven't seen you around much. You still planning on radonc?
