Hey there,

I seem to keep finding contradictory info regarding which drug intoxications cause nystagmus and which don't. So far, I've confirmed that PCP can cause nystagmus, but I'm confused about LSD, mushrooms, cocaine, amphetamines, opiods, etc...

Any insight?

PCP and ketamine are the only drugs that cause nystagmus....others dont. I personally checked this information after I got a question wrong on UWorld.

A special note with PCP: it is the only one, from my understanding, that causes vertical nystagmus.
