I'd prefer the balanced score personally but both are very competitive and probably won't be the deciding factor on whether or not you get the interview.

Would you take a 93% composite with 90s and 60s in sub-scores

or

a 89% composite with 90s and 80s in sub-scores?

Trivial question but just curious.

The 89% composite seems too low to me. If all your scores are in the 80s and 90s, you are probably getting at least a 90 composite.

Here are some examples of what similar composites look like:

verbal..409 63
bio 417 75
reading 398 42
quantitative 468 99
chemistry 443 93
composite 427 88

Verbal Ability 450 97
Biology 398 44
Reading Comprehension 431 88
Quantitative Ability 430 85
Chemistry 430 85
Composite 428 89

And check out this score from August. I didn't even know this was possible.

Verbal 389 30
Biology 484 99
Reading Comprehension 417 72
Quantitative Ability 498 99
Chemistry 472 99
Composite 452 99
