Hello.
I am senior right now, and will be applying to med. schools in June of 07, which means I will have a year off. I have a quite a bit of volunteer, shadowing, and teaching experience, but haven't really participated in clubs and organizations on campus. I was an active member for AMSA for one semester but that was it. will it really look bad? should I be worried? what the deal with them anyway? thanks

As long as you show that you were not sitting on your ass throughout college you should be fine. Which is definetly not the case with you.

I think what is important is that you have a substantive or involved commitment that you can passionately talk about. You will be fine, quantity is not better than quality:p
