Hey guys,

I have a publication in a high impact journal that is currently "In-Press". It has been accepted and will be published within the next several weeks. I have this has as one of my activities in AMCAS right now as well and was wondering if it is ok to keep it there?

Yes, it’s fine to include this as a publication on your AMCAS application.

Yes, as long as a paper has been accepted, it can and should be listed. I know a lot of people on here don't like listing submitted (but not yet accepted) papers but I would still mention it in the project description somewhere. Just so they're aware that the project went somewhere and you're likely going to get something tangible out of it.

Yeah, it has been accepted and will get officially published in the next few weeks as well.

You can list this under a Publications tab, adding to the citation [in press] with an indication of roughly when it's meant to appear publicly, if you don't know enough to add it to the citation.

For the publication date for something that is in press should I just approximate when I think it will be released? I am 99% it will be published in June, but I just want to be safe.

No, put the date it was accepted for publication.
