In this Thanksgiving week like no other, will it affect the process?

This is my first Thanksgiving in this nether, hazy world of the medical school application process but am I right in assuming that in years past, Thanksgiving week is one of dead silence -- no iis, no As, no Rs, no nothing as academia shuts down during this week. If that's so, is the expectation that this year would follow those years or is there a chance of activity given that most folks are working remotely?

I'm just trying to emotionally calibrate for the week.
