Ok - This might sound silly but what is the difference in terms of licensure between the IMBDE and the CDCA Boards?

IMBDE is the national board exam. Every state will require you to pass it. It’s a question-based exam.

CDCA is one of the regional boards. It is patient based (now mannequin based) and there is a computer portion. There are some other regional boards including WREB. Each state will accept only certain regional boards, but CDCA has become the most ubiquitous.

WREB, CITA and CDCA have all merged to administer the ADEX exam. It is basically just them and CRDTS left.
