Hello. I'm currently on rotation at a specialty/infusion center. I think I'd really enjoy being an infusion pharmacist. I've been looking into applying for an infusion residency program, but I'm just worried it may be difficult to find a job after residency. It doesn't seem like there are a whole lot of infusion pharmacies. I just don't think I could ever be happy staying in retail forever. I have a 3.85 GPA, was involved as a Rho Chi tutor during pharmacy school, have worked as a retail pharmacy intern for 3.5 years, have some volunteer work, have done a poster presentation, as well as other presentations and projects.

I'm also interested in specialty, which may be easier to land a job without residency, from my understanding.

Can anyone advise me on this decision?
